¡Pick Me Up at the Border! 2026

We will meet at 6:30 pm on Friday, September 18 at Seminole Tap, 5956 Executive Drive, Fitchburg, WI 53719 on Friday, rolling out along the Badger State Trail at 7pm. The end time depends on your speed and the distance chosen.

This is our signature event and the annual fund-raiser for Bike Fitchburg, Inc. This is a night ride to the Illinois border on the Badger State Trail. Shorter distances are also offered. A $15 or larger donation to Bike Fitchburg is requested at registration. More information and a link to register may be found here.

Rides for Joe

In honor of our late, long-time director Joe Imilkowski, Bike Fitchburg, the Fitchburg Senior Center, and the City of Fitchburg Bicycle Committee are proud to announce monthly, slow-roll Rides for Joe. We will begin at 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month May through October. After quick bike and helmet checks and a brief educational topic, we'll head out on slow rides around the Fitchburg system of multi-use paths, generally avoiding traffic. These rides are free and oriented to seniors, but all are welcome. You will need to register and bring your own helmet, bike, and state trail pass. Registration is required. Register here.
