¡Pick Me Up at the Border!
¡Pick Me Up at the Border! 2024 will be held on Friday, September 20 at 6:30 pm (ride starts at 7 pm) to Saturday, September 21 at 5 am.
START LOCATION:
The Seminole Tap, 5956 Executive Dr, Fitchburg, WI 53719. To insure there is ample parking for patrons of the Seminole Tap and Infinity Martial Arts, please park motor vehicles on Marketplace Drive or on the edge of the parking lot closest to it.
ROUTE:
This is a night ride on the Badger State Trail. You are responsible for having a daily or annual State Trail Pass. The route is gravel south of Purcell Road in Fitchburg except for the short Tunnel Road detour around the closed Stewart Tunnel.
DISTANCE OPTIONS:
80 miles: Ride to the Illinois border and back
40 miles: Ride to Monticello and back
25 miles: Ride to Belleville and back

FEE:
This is the annual fund-raiser for Bike Fitchburg, Inc. Make a $15 or larger donation to Bike Fitchburg when you sign up online. Advanced registration is appreciated but you can register on site just before the ride if you go online with your smart phone and credit card number. Online registration is now available.
WHO:
18 yrs. or older. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
LIGHTS:
This is a night ride! Lights are required. We suggest a strong front light of at least 300 lumens and a working tail light. Bring additional lights or battery packs for the longer distances. Don't ride home in the dark!
DRESS:
Please dress appropriately. It can get cool at night and it might even rain, so be prepared.
SAG SUPPORT:
Please know your capabilities and pick your distance according to your level of fitness. SAG support for those with who can't proceed due to medical or mechanical problems is pending.
FOOD AND SNACKS:
Will be provided by Fitchburg Family Pharmacy.
NOT A RACE:
This event is a non-competitive event, so please ride at a safe speed and enjoy the trail. Riders will disperse south of County Highway M and ride at their own pace. Your finishing time will depend on the speed and distance you choose.
